The Spanner Band have over 10 years experience playing all over the UK and Europe at all kinds of parties, corporate bashes, charity balls, festivals, birthdays, weddings and anniversaries. We play party music from the 1950's to the present day. If you have a particular favourite, or company anthem, give us a bit of notice and we'll glue it in to the set for you. We believe live music should be fun, so we play songs that make you want to sing, jump, laugh, cry and generally shake your stuff to. We leave all of the house, R&B, garage, shed, trance, drum & bass, kitchen, handbag, high energy, popsock, techno, jungle, breakbeat and of course old school and downtempo for the DJ to spin. |

The Spanner Band also perform several other musical acts. We have a during dinner/cabaret comedy band called 'The Cheasy Listening Band'. Cheasy play well known tunes with a comedy cheese twist. A wondering buskers act called 'Mr Coconut & Friends', perfect for around the dinner tables or outdoor events. We also provide 'The After Show Party' which is an acoustic act for the small hours in the bar after the function (everyone knows that this is when the real party starts). Classic sing a long tunes around the piano or with acoustic guitars and shakers. Last but by no means least is 'The Spanneroke Band'. This gives people the rare opprtunity to sing with a live band in a Karaoke style. We provide the words and the musicians, you supply the shouting.
