GARY GRACE is widely regarded as one of the UK's classiest vocalists. He regularly appears at weddings, private functions and corporate events throughout the UK and Europe, as well as around the world aboard cruise liners. He is best known for his 'Salute to Sinatra' and 'Kings of Swing' tribute shows as well as the pop standards and songs from movies and musicals that he also performs in cabaret when cruising. In recent years he has also become one of the principal vocalists for Tony Hatch, whenever the legendary songwriter makes one of his rare public performances. Gary can offer various options to suit your needs and budget, either performing solo with recorded backing music, or else with a band of various sizes…anything from a duo to an 18-piece band. For weddings and dinner/dances he can offer a range of possibilities…providing 'easy listening' or 'dinner jazz' as an accompaniment to the meal and/or 'up tempo' music to get everyone dancing later. In this instance, he can also include 60s & 70s dance numbers in his set if required. For his engagements around the UK and Europe, Gary draws from a pool of some of the nation's finest session musicians, usually seeking to engage players as close to the venue location as possible to keep client costs to a minimum. Salute to Sinatra - 1-hour cabaret show, faithfully re-creating the sound of 'Old Blue Eyes' himself. Kings of Swing - Gary performs timeless classics associated with Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Matt Monro,Andy Williams, Nat 'King' Cole, Tony Bennett etc. Jazz & Swing - Gary combines the jazz standards of Cole Porter, the Gershwins and Rodgers & Hart with the classic swing songs of Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett Cruise Cabaret - Whilst primarily performing the songs of Sinatra and the Rat Pack when on dry land, Gary's cabaret show can extend into a wider area when aboard cruise liners. Weddings & Functions - He can provide 'easy listening' music as background to a drinks reception or dinner, or more 'up tempo' music for dancing afterwards, where he can also include pop numbers into his repertoire if required.
